We know that we all have some bad habits. Maybe you overindulge in too much junk food, or chew on your fingernails, but at least you acknowledge that it’s bad for you. Well, it turns out that a lot of the everyday things that seem innocuous are actually harmful to you as well. Since knowing what you’re doing wrong is the first step towards changing it, we have gathered up 15 everyday things you need to stop doing - preferably as soon as possible. We will dispel some common health myths that persist despite scientific evidence to the contrary. If you have ever wondered how you could possible drink eight glasses of water a day, don’t worry, you get most of that water from the food you eat. Maybe you feel healthy because you balance out your unhealthy food with a handful of vitamin supplements, but you could be doing more harm than good. From the mattress you use to lay your body down on, to the method in which you wake up in the morning, you are probably sleeping entirely wrong and can actually be causing damage to your body and putting strain on your heart. When grabbing some sunscreen for a trip to the beach, do you go for the bottle with the highest SPF? You might be surprised what part of the sunscreen bottle you should actually be looking at. You might want to take a little more care when you choose a pair of sunglasses as well, since cheap ones can actually cause damage to your eyes instead of protecting them.
