Manizha Talash is the first female breakdancer to join a dance club in Kabul, Afghanistan. Many conservative Afghans frown on dancing of any type, not to mention a woman’s participation. However, these social stigmas have not destroyed Talash’s passion for breakdancing. The 18-year-old hopes to one day represent the country on the Olympic stage.
