Italy's Prime Minister Mario Draghi has attended a ceremony in Lombardy, the region that became Europe's COVID-19 hotspot one year ago.
More than 100,000 people have died across the country over the last year. And that toll will rise as the country prepares for another wave of coronavirus infections.
