Artist Spray-Paints Giant Mural on Benin Coast

Artist Guillaume Legros, a.k.a. ‘Saype,’ spray-painted a giant mural of two interlaced hands at two locations in the African country of Benin. The pieces are the latest installments of his ‘Beyond Walls’ project, which aims to create a metaphorical human chain of works around the globe in a message of friendship and togetherness that spans borders. Previous works in the project have been painted in public spaces in Paris, Geneva, Berlin, Cape Town, Istanbul, and other cities.
