Beijing's ‘ruthless’ eviction of migrant workers under fire

In China's capital city Beijing, they have been given the go-ahead to continue demolishing the homes of migrant workers.

Government leaders in Beijing say the demolition campaign is part of a crackdown on safety hazards following the deaths of 19 people in a fire.

Critics say the fire is being used as an excuse for forced evictions.

Al Jazeera's Adrian Brown reports from Beijing.
