1989 might have been the most important year in German history after the war. For four decades, the country had been divided into the west, the Federal Republic of Germany, and the East the communist German Democratic Republic.

In the second episode, DJ Westbam leads us through a vivid music scene that went from Punk to Electronic and united a progressive youth on the dance floor.
