Democrats and Republicans in the US Senate have wrangled over a key part of President Joe Biden's coronavirus relief bill.
The compromise on extending federal jobless benefits overcomes one of several obstacles the $1.9 trillion package has faced.
But despite Republican objections, the bill is expected to pass.
