US President Joe Biden has met the families of the 13 US soldiers who were killed in an attack at Kabul airport last week, which was claimed by the Islamic State in Khorasan Province, ISKP (ISIS-K), an ISIL affiliate.
As the soldiers' remains arrived in the US from Afghanistan, Biden and First Lady Jill Biden attended the ceremony at the Dover Air Force Base.
The president has pledged to make ISKP pay for the killings of the US soldiers.
A US drone attacked killed two ISKP members on Friday and on Sunday, another drone attack destroyed a vehicle.
