Here’s the bizarre moment during a college baseball game in Texas on April 20, when a pitcher tackled an opposing player as he rounded the bases following a home run.

What, if anything, prompted Weatherford College pitcher Owen Woodward to tackle North Central Texas hitter Josh Phillips, is under investigation.

Weatherford College issued a statement saying they were ‘completely embarrassed’ and ‘shocked and disappointed’ at Woodward’s actions and that he could possibly face expulsion as a result.
