Can Google Maps help solve Afghanistan-Pakistan border dispute?
Border disputes are normally resolved by months of surveys, diplomacy and negotiations. In the case of the Durand line, Afghanistan and Pakistan are hoping to speed up the process using technology.
While Google Maps may help the two parties resolve this issue, the service has been accused of perpetuating other territorial disputes.
