Charlie Rose sacked by CBS over harassment allegations

One of America's most recognisable broadcasters, Charlie Rose, has been fired by CBS and PBS after eight women accused him of improper behaviour.

Although Rose is the latest in a string of high-profile Americans to face sexual misconduct accusations, a new US study's revealed that sexual harassment occurs at a higher rate in low-paid jobs.

And those positions, such as healthcare, retail and the food service industry, are held predominantly by women.
