China drives consumers to electric cars

China has started an offensive against fuel and diesel cars.

Research shows that one-third of air pollution in China comes from petrol and diesel cars.

That’s why the government recently decided that traditionally fuelled cars are a thing of the past.

The world's largest emitter of greenhouse gasses wants its nearly 200 million car owners to move to electricity in the near future.

Their strategy: huge incentives for producers and buyers.
