China hit by year’s first typhoon Chaba, record rains forecast

Parts of China and Japan in the south are under water after Tropical storm Aere and Typhoon Chaba swept across the region. Although July is typhoon season, scientists say climate change is causing more extreme weather patterns more frequently.
