China, North Korea top agenda as Blinken begins first Asian tour

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are making their first overseas trip on Monday as they visit key Asian allies Japan and South Korea for discussions.
Topping the agenda will be containing the rise of China and North Korea's possible acquisition of nuclear weapons.
Austin and Blinken will hold strategic talks with their Japanese and South Korean counterparts on Tuesday and Wednesday and the defense secretary will later meet Indian military chiefs in New Delhi.
