Following frosty talks with US officials in Alaska, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in the southern Chinese city of Guilin on March 22, 2021. The top diplomats touched on a range of topics, including their souring relations with Washington, the Iranian nuclear issue, the Myanmar civil unrest, United Nations reforms and climate change. Lavrov will end his two-day visit to China on March 23.
