More than 200 personnel are working year-round to ensure the safety of a railway that runs through several desert regions in China. The Lince Railway runs for more than 700 kilometres, between Bayannur and the border port of Ceke in China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region. A stretch of more than 400 kilometres of the railroad is located in the Gobi Desert, state media said.
