COVID cases soar in Georgia as doubt about vaccines continues

Georgia has reported one of the world's worst COVID-19 infection and death rates per capita, driven by the Delta variant.
Although cases have dropped slightly from their peak in early August, it has not imposed any new lockdowns.
Many Georgians have been sceptical about the vaccines but authorities are now trying to encourage them to get jabbed.
