Despite active Bali volcano, government wants tourists

It's been a lean tourist season on the Indonesian island of Bali due to an erupting volcano.

The Indonesian government is urging tourists to return to the holiday island of Bali.

A volcanic eruption that began in September forced the Island's airport to close for two days last month.

Tourist arrivals dropped by more than 70 percent, and the country has lost more than a billion dollars in tourist revenue.

Al Jazeera's Step Vaessen reports from Bali.
