Dove Refuses to Fly at Couple's Wedding

A couple in the Philippines thought it would be a cute idea to release doves at the end of their wedding ceremony. It did not go as planned.

‘We asked the staff to look after the birds during the ceremony. It seemed fine while I was holding it,’ bride Kristine Elipe said, via Newsflare. ‘I was shocked when the bird didn’t move and fell straight to the floor, but thankfully it was not hurt. It just hit the ground like a burrito.’

According to Elipe, the bird did fly away successfully on a second attempt.
