DRC: Court orders strongman to compensate to child soldiers

Thomas Lubanga has been ordered to pay $10m to child victims of his crimes in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but his lawyers say he has no money and is being made a scapegoat for all child soldiers.

A strongman has been ordered to pay $10m in compensation to child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Thomas Lubanga was convicted of war crimes five years ago, but the International Criminal Court has only now put a figure on it.
