Eco-Activist Throws Cake at Mona Lisa

ICYMI: An activist smeared cake on the Mona Lisa at the Louvre in Paris on Sunday, in an apparent protest meant to draw attention to the climate crisis.

According to several reports, the man jumped out of a wheelchair and attempted to smash the glass protecting the painting, before electing to smear cake on the glass instead. The portrait itself was unaffected.

'Think about the Earth. There are people who are in the process of destroying the Earth,' the man reportedly shouted in French, per bystanders.
