‘Star Wars’ actor Ewan McGregor has recorded a video message defending his ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ co-star Moses Ingram from racist trolls.

Ingram plays the character of Reva Sevander in the miniseries. After the initial episodes of the series were released to Disney+ on May 27, Ingram, who is Black, received a flurry of racist messages across social media. McGregor defended Ingram, calling her a ‘brilliant actor.’

‘And if you're sending her bullying messages, you're no Star Wars fan in my mind,’ the actor continued. ‘There's no place for racism in this world. And I totally stand with Moses.’
