Fears over UN's Darfur peacekeeping cuts
The United Nations' largest peacekeeping operation is facing major cuts ten years after it was created.
The UN is expected to vote on Thursday on reducing personnel in Sudan's Darfur region by 44 percent in the coming year.
The move would save the UN millions of dollars, but it could also compromise the safety of those living in the troubled region.
Al Jazeera's Hiba Morgan reports from North Darfur.
