France probes Apple for slowing down older iPhones

Prosecutors in France are investigating the US tech giant Apple, after it admitted to slowing down older models of its iPhone last month.

The inquiry focuses on accusations that Apple has broken French consumer law, in attempting to force existing customers to buy new phones.
