Sharks have been washing up on beaches frozen solid, amid record-breaking winter conditions in parts of the US.

On a beach in Cape Cod, on the northeastern coast of the US, the frozen carcasses washed up over two days.

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, which removed the sharks, believes the three males were stranded and fell into 'cold shock' while trying to make their way to warmer waters in the south.
