Other legislators joining Catro are Reps. Pete Aquilar (D-CA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), Jennifer Wexton (D-VA), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). The delegation will speak to the press after touring the facility, saying they are intent on ensuring humane treatment of the children. Later today, a GOP delegation led by Texas Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn will also speak to the press at Anzalduas Park on the U.S.-Mexico border.
