An Indian couple decided to go ahead with their wedding decked in personal protection equipment (PPE), after the bride was found to be Covid-19 positive on her big day. The wedding took place under strict supervision of medical staff at a Covid-19 care centre in India’s western state of Rajasthan on December 6, 2020. The only guests allowed as they tried the knot were the bride’s parents and a priest, who also word protective gear. India has seen its rate of coronavirus infections fall from a peak in September, but there were still over 30,000 new cases a day being reported over the past week.
