India's Rahul Gandhi to become congress president

Rahul Gandhi is formally taking over from his mother as the president of India's main opposition party.
The Congress had been losing ground over the past three years after being defeated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP in national polls.
But in the past few months, Gandhi's stoked talk of a political revival with an aggressive campaign in regional elections in Modi's home state.
