In Indonesia’s West Java province, Puryanti has been struggling to make a living. Finding it difficult to get work, the single mother, along with her son and nephew, have been wearing silver paint and bowing to people on the busy streets of Jakarta for an occasional coin. On a good day, Puryanti earns just 50,000-70,000 rupiah (US$3.58-US$5.00).
