Iran-Iraq quake: Tehran declares national day of mourning

Tuesday has been declared a national day of mourning in Iran for hundreds of people killed in Sunday's earthquake that also devastated parts of bordering Iraq. An estimated 70,000 people living close to the Iran-Iraq border have been made homeless and the government is struggling to get aid to those in need.

Iran is one of the most seismically active countries in the world.

Al Jazeera’s Neave Barker reports.
