Iraq fails to form government seven months after elections

Iraq's parliament has failed to choose a new government and president seven months after legislative elections.
The impasse is the result of deep divisions along rival political lines.
However, some independent politicians have suggested naming a prime minister who is not allied with any faction.
Al Jazeera's Mahmoud Abdelwahed reports from Baghdad, Iraq.
