Italy: Ex-ECB chief Draghi ‘confident’ he can form government

The former head of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi, has agreed to attempt to form a new Italian government.
He has been asked by the president to form a non-political administration of experts to help steer the nation out of its economic and political crisis.
It comes three weeks after the previous coalition government split.
