A medical emergency's been declared in Jordan after at least seven people being treated for coronavirus died in hospital when their oxygen supply ran out.
The health minister has resigned, as the government tries to calm down furious families.
Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh ordered an investigation, while King Abdullah II arrived at the hospital to help calm angry families who had gathered outside.
Denouncing the incident, the king also ordered the hospital’s director suspended.

Al Jazeera’s Laura Burdon-Manley reports.
