Kenya election rerun: Ballot legitimacy into question

Kenya's top court is going to hear a last-minute demand to suspend Thursday's rerun of August's presidential election.

The opposition says there haven't been electoral reforms necessary to hold a clean vote, while the sitting-president and declared-winner of the previous poll, Uhuru Kenyatta, has warned of a constitutional crisis if the new round of voting is delayed.

After the main opposition leader withdrew from the race in an attempt to delay the rerun, voters are divided and the legitimacy of the ballot has been called into question.

Al Jazeera's Fahmida Miller reports from Nairobi.
