Liberia election: Vote counting under way as polls close

Polls have closed in Liberia's presidential election - and there are hopes for the first democratic transfer of power in more than 70 years.

Twenty candidates are seeking to replace Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, who became Africa's first female president in 2005.
