Manus Island: Police raid former camp

Police in Papua New Guinea have raided a former camp where more than 400 refugees barricaded themselves over fears of attacks by locals.

The facility was closed three weeks ago and authorities cut power and water supplies.

The asylum seekers say police "attacked" the facility and were "destroying everything" inside.

AL Jazeera's Andrew Thomas reports from Manus Island.
