Marawi: Security forces accused of misconduct
The Philippine military says it controls around 80 percent of Marawi City following three weeks of fighting with an armed group that pledged allegiance to ISIL.
Government leaders say their priority is to rescue of hundreds of civilians who are trapped by the battle against Maute fighters.
But some civilians are also questioning the conduct of soldiers in the region where martial law has been imposed.
Al Jazeera's Jamela Alindogan reports from the besieged city.
