Only 60 graves left for Indonesian Covid-19 victims as cemetery in capital Jakarta fills up

The Pondok Ranggon public cemetery in the eastern part of the Indonesian capital Jakarta that has been reserved for people who died from Covid-19, was nearly out of space on December 7, 2020. As coronavirus-related deaths continue to mount in the country, workers at the cemetery said the site had no more room for Muslim victims, and only about 60 graves left in an area set aside for Christians.
