Palestine has started its vaccine rollout to the general public, with priority for medical staff, people aged over 75 and those with chronic illnesses.
The health authority received more than 60,000 Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines last month through the UN-led COVAX scheme.
In February, the Palestinian Authority had received 12 thousand doses of Moderna and Sputnik V vaccines which were meant to only be administered to front-line health workers.
But the health ministry later revealed that senior officials had been inoculated, angering many Palestinians.
