Joe Biden was the first American president to fly directly from Israel to Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, he met the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in Bethlehem.
He reiterated United States support for a two-state solution, but said the time was not right to try to restart a peace process with the Israelis.
