Paris shelters provide respite from heatwave

France is one of a number of European countries facing a heatwave with its highest temperatures on record and unprecedented wildfires.
Shelters are a lifeline throughout the year, but particularly in the soaring temperatures.
The summer heat can be as dangerous as the winter cold for people experiencing homelessness, but the shelters provide the chance to escape the heat, take a shower, charge a phone, and wash clothes, as well as rest and socialise.
Al Jazeera's Natacha Butler reports from Paris.
