France's Arc de Triomphe has become a temporary art installation, following the wishes of the late Bulgarian couple Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude.
They laid out detailed drawings and instructions on how to transform the landmark structure 60 years ago but never lived to see their plans materialise.
The artists became famous for wrapping buildings and even surrounding whole islands with eye-catching materials.
Al Jazeera's Natacha Butler reports from Paris, France.
