Peshawar residents occupy power stations to protest electricity cuts
In many parts of Pakistan, the arrival of summer means severe power cuts as demand for electricity soars.
Rural and urban areas across the country have been dealing with rolling outages and mass protests.
In the northwestern city of Peshawar, hundreds of people took over two power stations, demanding companies turn the lights back on.
