UK Prime Minister Theresa May has pledged to use more police resources to protect mosques in the country after a man drove a van into a crowd of Muslims near a mosque in north London.

One man died at the scene and another 10 were injured in the attack around Finsbury Park. A 47-year-old man was arrested on terror offences.

The UK has seen a rise in Islamophobia and anti-Muslim crimes.
