In Sri Lanka, former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has been sworn in as acting president, after Gotabaya Rajapaksa's resignation was confirmed.
He sent his resignation letter from Singapore, after fleeing on Wednesday.
But protesters want Wickremesinghe to go too.
