Qatar marks National Day amid ongoing Gulf crisis

Qatar has been celebrating its National Day, the country showed off its military muscle with a parade of the armed forces in front of the Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

It comes as a six-month political crisis in the Gulf continues.

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt cut ties with Qatar back in June accusing it of funding "terrorism". A charge Doha has strongly denied.

Qatari leaders said that the blockade had increased unity and even brought together the expat community in support of the nation.

Al Jazeera's Mohammed Vall reports from Doha.
