Myanmar's military has levelled new accusations against deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
A military spokesman says she accepted illegal payments worth $600,000, as well as gold, while in government.
The army also denied it was using excessive force on protesters, but at least seven more were killed on Thursday.
Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler has more from Bangkok, Thailand.
