Syrians turn old blankets into winter coats to survive

Syrians in rebel-held towns are struggling to survive, with many of them surrounded by government forces.

Supplies are running short and - with little access to international aid - residence are learning to improvise with what little they have.

Al Jazeera's Fintan Monaghan reports.
