Tech Company Introduces Delivery Robot in Singapore

'Camello’ is an autonomous delivery robot being used in Singapore to bring customers' purchases from local stores using an app. The robot, created by technology company OTSAW, can transport about nearly 45 pounds within each of its 2 internal weatherproof compartments. Other features of 'Camello' include a 3D sensor and camera to help deliver navigate across challenging terrain and disinfect itself with its UVC light. According to the company, the robot's capabilities have come in clutch during COVID-19 pandemic when it comes to social distancing and contactless transactions. Currently, OTSAW has 2 robots in operation in Singapore but has plans to expand.
