Thailand's Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha and members of his cabinet have cancelled plans to receive the country’s first Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine doses. Their decision, announced at the last minute on March 12, 2021, came as officials said Thailand would delay its planned roll-out of a vaccine programme using the shots amid reports of blood clots among some patients who received it in Europe.
